For the first time, a video selfie smart health diagnostics service has been launched in Russia

On the basis of the mobile application of the top Russian clinic, a service has been launched in the approbation mode that analyzes a number of patient's health parameters — pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate, etc. — by face. Thanks to this technology, it is possible to more effectively identify the risks of cardiovascular, endocrinological, mental and other diseases, as well as accumulate a database in order to predict the dynamics of their growth among the population. The European Medical Center launched the EMC-Connect platform in 2023 to collect data on the health status of patients. Thanks to the introduction of remote monitoring and facial analysis, it is planned to improve the screening system, as well as the direction of preventive medicine in general. TeleMedHub, a Russian accredited IT company, is responsible for the integration of the system.

In addition, they do not need additional Bluetooth devices like tonometers and pulse oximeters for this, which allows them to multiply expand the audience of the service. I am sure that on the scale of our country, this service could become an indispensable tool within the framework of the program for the prevention and monitoring of citizens' health."

In order to use smart monitoring, you need to connect the MobilMedAI service in the EMC-Connect application and specify the user's parameters – gender, age, weight and height. The technology is based on the analysis of light reflected from the patient's face and interacting with blood vessels in the deep layers of the skin. For such an analysis, it is the face that is suitable – an open part of the body, from which it is possible to draw a conclusion about blood flow in the body. Measurements with the camera take only 60 seconds. Unlike foreign analogues, monitoring is more accurate due to clear centering and an additional frame for capturing the face.
